Rouge. A bit of swamp bogginess at first but that blows off lickety spit. Med to full bodied, good acidity, gluggy, bit o tannin slaps you on arse on yr way out.

Bought at &flock and Herd. Lovely juicy red, very smooth, medium body. Lots of red fruit notes and a very smooth finish

Back on natural wines - as I like the guy in the shop + hangovers are less - this one is good and aged well for a natural. Not got the nose of something I can sit back and just enjoy with a big glass smell, but pretty well rounded benchmark

Jun 8th, 2019Had this last night. Super interesting! It paired absolutely perfectly with salad with pears walnuts and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. The wine had a crispness and a backbone from mineralogy at the end of it along with this curious natural wine note on the beginning that reminds me a smidge of sherry. Good stuff and worth a buy especially at the price point. I normally don’t rate wines unless they really stand out and this is one.

Not a red blend... Yeasty, gassy, funky... But very much so up my alley. Good food wine, but interesting enough to drink on its own for sure
