Surprisingly, I loved village bottle more. Perrieres seemed a bit too tight and even with some weird sweetness to it. Not a hint of oxidation, but very wobbly and all over the place, all while staying rather closed up.

The sweetness is so complex. Honey with baked apple and baked pear. Full in the mouth with balanced acidity and minerality. A perfect Meursalt.

Crisp; good minerality. Perfect with our poached salmon with a tomato, basil vinaigrette.
