Buttery, smooth. This 2009 is what Montrachet is supposed to be all about. A great drink, can be a bit on the pricy side though.

May 17th, 2017This is my fav white burgundy and this lived up to its reputation as elegant and restrained but with great clarity and definition. And with nice acidity that is so refreshing. And will age well.

Definitely on the road to fully oxidized, but alive enough to still be a very enjoyable bottle to drink. Soft almost pillowy texture with lemon and caramel. Smell was a dead ringer for grandmas house and Werther's Originals.
