A last minute PnP. I have not opened many ‘05’s given my experience early on. You could tell there was great material but they were not providing drinking pleasure. A nose of black cherry with some spice hits your nose immediately. In the mouth a silky combo of of black and red fruit, spice and smooth but present tannins. Upside with time, for now I will stick to opening my ‘05 Village wines .

Ripe crushed red fruit on the nose and palate. Med - intensity and med - complexity. The structure is intact with gripping tannins and med + acidity but there are now delicious flavors to be shown off. To me it's not past its peak so maybe it's taking a nap? #josephdrouhin #chambollemusigny #premieurcru #baudes
