Picked this up to make boeuf bourguignon. Burgundy (ironically enough) in color, no sediment, aromas of raspberries and black currant has a light minerality note undercut with some spice. Body is light to medium light, flavors of the aforementioned fruits with some cherry/almond finish with a nice tannin presence. Overall a solid wine I would cook with and use as an introduction to French Pinots.
