My daughters cat looking at me suspiciously. I like this $18 wine. Earth, a pinch of asphalt and ton of acidity.

Not vibrant and fruity like great Nouveau Beaujolais but not very deep and sophisticated either. The thing that really stands out to me is the utter lack of bouquet- in my wine career (albeit short) I have never come across a red or a white with such utter lack of scent. Do I have covid? The taste is typical of what you might find as the table wine of any French bistro in the region- enjoyable but you don't even think about buying it bc it's 7€ a liter.

Smooth, good. Gamay is our every day wine but like Louis Jadot better at $8.50 a bottle at Total Wine for basically same taste. Lol.
