Pale, pale gold. Smells of desert sand and rain with the slightest hint of honey. Very balanced, very fresh on the pallet. Nothing is overstated, except for the slightly lingering minerality that is marginally overtaken by the acidity.

Dry Riesling from Alsace. Nice acidity, lemon and green apple. Would have liked a bit more depth but very food friendly easy to drink.

Nice Alsace wine. Dry and not sweet. Acidic with lots of apple, honey and citrus. Perfect pairing with traditional Alsace Choucroute dish.

2011. Dry. A surprising amount of petrol for such a young wine. Has the acid for a decade or more.
