I was a fan since I first blind tasted José Gil. This one, red candy fruit, yet the aftertaste is lemony and the red fruit vanishes in a layer of tannins. Nothing wrong with it, a bit short and simple to score higher

Badly corked. Have had a bad run of luck with rioja, but wanted to give this a try after reading about in Noble Rot. Not cheap either. Bummer.
