Opening a bottle, the color was a deep Ruby red with focused aromas of red fruit and spice for this 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot blend. The palate was graceful with flavors of cherries, plums and blackberry jam, complex oak integration with cinnamon and lively acidity. The well balanced wine was aged for 12 months in French and American oak, had fine tannins and graceful finish. Decant this Gem for about 60 minutes! Enjoy! Pairs well with a Steak!

A lovely Californian CS from the 2008 vintage. Wine came in a magnum format and was delicious. The wine has matured beautifully and is still full of life with an expressive nose of chocolate, coffee, black cherries, licorice and sweet cedar, full body with round smooth tannins and a superb supporting acidity. Wine is very balanced and appealing. My score 89, drink to 2019
