Oct 26th, 2023Once you get past the admittedly very cool label design, you get into some really cool wine. Ruby red color in the glass. Light on its feet and just straight up delicious through and through. The nose features blue and black fruits with a dash of spice. A bit of chocolate and cloves for good measure.
Earthy and approachable immediately. Well crafted and serious while maintaining the fun, just like all the Jolie-Laide wines. Depth and complexity along with some leather and tobacco to compliment the dark fruits. Another banger from JL.

What a great wine. Berries, granite, some plum, a bit of woody earth. With time I think there was some more floral notes and fruit coming through. Great food wine

Feb 26th, 2023Incredibly refreshing - jammy without being heavy, every fruit and herb/spice presence is fairly easily identified without the wine being boring. An exciting wine to taste out of CA with a very modest sub-13% abv. Not a lot of tertiary depth but capable of making you rethink CA wine in general? Impressive
