"A Single Breath" Antle Vineyard Melon de Bourgogne

A favorite local producer. Great vibrancy, acid, and life to Scott's white wines especially. This was my first go at the Melon de Bourgone. I said "wow" out loud in remarking in its nerve & zip. Not a show stopper but an affordable daily drinker with attention and craft behind its creation, not to be discounted. A great match to a dinner of Mt. Lassen trout. California love!

Low alc, high acid, saline and mineral. Begging to be slurped with shellfish (mignonette) or a salad (vinaigrette). Chill it and kill it.

Bright and fresh and light and clean. Citrus, pineapple, oyster shell. Diggin it!

Those special moments where you run into a dear friend's delicious wine and you convince the gent pouring for you to compromise themselves for the sake of theater.

Gorgeous, crisp minerality. Bright acid.

Terrific stuff

Lemon-lime, saltwater, slate. Nice acidity, maybe lacking a bit in body/concentration. Good stuff, but a bit expensive compared to a high quality Muscadet
