I picked up this 2013 Petit Verdot from the John Kosovich cellar door last year and aimed to keep it for a good few years. Oops that was a fail!
Vibrant purple red colour on the eye with a floral violet fuelled nose intertwined with a bit of savoury meatiness to it. It definitely isn't shy! Deep dark black fruits on the palate with nuances of black jelly beans. This vino is a meal in a glass. Snuggle up with a bottle of this in front of the fire and you have the perfect date night.
