Such fond memories of this purchase back in 2014.
Paired with the patients to let it rest for a few years.
Has rewarded with balance and suppleness.

Not a huge fan, big minerality , seems to fall flat, underripe grapes. Melon, apple, acidic.

For those of you that have tried this kind of blend from Rhone and didn't like it because it seemed funky, didn't seem not ripe enough or showed too much minerality, this one might be for you. This 15 blend is far more tropical, delicate and floral. This is just releasing and you should be able to find it soon in the states. Green melons green & red apple, citrus, white peach, white florals, fruit blossoms with very fine and understated minerals. The acidity is brilliant and has a very polished finish. John Duval was the Winemaker at Penfold's for 29 years and has made his own private label wines for several years. Tasted with John at Artisans of Barossa.

Lovely southern Rhône white blend from the Barossa at Heckfield Place, The Sun House restaurant - partnered both fish and meat dishes well.

Light coloring. Flat smell. Low fruit. Smooth, easy, good pairing wine.

2012 GSM, not Viognier. Shiraz heavy, which I'm cool with. Have you seen Passengers yet? The bonus features with Chris Pratt is worth watching. I recommend both the wine and the movie.
