Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir

Very smooth, light tannins and red fruit flavors. Slightly sour early on but that quickly mellowed nicely with hints of vanilla. Good California Pinot.

A little flabby around the edges, lacking oomph and the distinctive character of Santa Barbara’s best Pinot regions. But the fruit is tasty and it goes down smooth.

Raspberry and a spicy note on the nose. Light body. Bright cherry fruit melting into vanilla due to the oak I’m sure it’s seen. Good Cali Pinot for a decent price. I had it with a steak and it mellowed the spice and brought forth the smooth vanilla and fresh plum notes.
