A lovely surprise, the first time I try the Lafoy Côte Rotie, 100% Syrah, elegant and smooth. Deep purple, opens up with light green notes, plenty of black and red fruits, floral notes, medium to full body, smooth and elegant with round tannins and lovely acidity. A lovely finish, that leaves you with a taste of more. My score 89, drink to 2021

It's light to medium bodied and has a tart acidity with firm tannin. There's flavors of blackberries, raspberries, fine black table pepper and leather. It finishes big with tannin and flavors of raspberries and leather.
