Aromas of underripe blackberries, tomato leaf, wet concrete. Blue and black fruit flavors accented with mushroom, soy sauce, white pepper. Good acidity and balance helped it with the pasta and spicy marinara sauce we had for dinner. Tannins are fairly assertive. Not a terribly complex wine, but it delivers enjoyment and good value for the money ($12).

Earthy, mildly tannic, pretty good amount of acidity. I wanted tacos in corn torillas when i drank this wine.
