Bright and full, fruit-forward red berries. Like a Spanish Rioja with less oak and tannins. Went very well with Rindsfilet and risotto. Cold weather meal on a rainy day.

Disappointing Douro, perhaps too old. The flavor was mostly washed out, with some pepper in the finish.
