Perfect example of the difference between a Pinot about and a Spätburgunder. This is the latter - light & herby with damson plums, woodland flowers and a touch of undergrowth. Juicy and light on the palate with fruity acidity and some light tannins. Great with food, good for sipping solo. A nice effort.
