Such a great Fixin. Haunting and beautiful nose of wet earth, game, sour/sweet cherry fruit, spice, gorgeous spice, sweet spice, floral, forest floor, mineral. Stunning. Layered. Palate is juicy and ripe with sappy red cherries and sour cherries with a strong mineral spine and terrific length that pumps out precise laser focused fruit. Gorgeous tannins. Complex finish that really is compelling. Tasted like Gevrey 1er Cru from anyone else.

Just concluded our annual Fall seclusion into the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again.

5hr decant. Nose of very earthy black cherry and rose. Palate has black cherry, dense minerals, tight tannins. Hands down the best Fixin we've
had in recent years.

Good, good stuff. A tad sweet and fruit forward but alive and energetic in the glass and ample red cherry. First time tasting.

Piercing cranberry nose. As this opens some lilacs peek out.

Cranberry on the palate. Some licorice. Very fresh. As this opens some yummy richness. Becoming gorgeous. Sweet beauty.

This has the structure to be brilliant but it’s way young.

5 years too young but fuck it. The world could end tomorrow and I don’t think cockroaches drink wine.

Bought from fass selections.
