Big jammy nose. Dark color. Blackberry, grass field, and pepper. Touch to much acid today. Overall pretty good.

Rich deep berry and plum fruit a la bevan. Lush tannin. Black pepper, violet, vanilla and a hint of meat. Decadent!

Very energetic wine. Blind, I would be in The Rhone valley. Bright berry fruit with great floral. Long, refreshing finish.

My last of the 3 bottles, and probably the most balanced bottle of the 3. Meaty and spicy with plenty of bright cherry fruits. Powerful with a gentle touch. Candied long finish.
What a gem! Unfortunately the winery seems to cease operation. Wonder who owns the Cardiac Hill vineyard, considered by many one of the greatest sites for Syrah in California.
