Okay, this little Brute is a streak of lemon zest followed by a tide of active bubbles that eventually shake out the yeast and candied lemon notes that make your lips smack. A little sweeter than I prefer (that is to say, not very sweet at all, but a hint of sweetness) but that is okay. Overall the wine has a great balance, is clean and crisp, without taking you to the cleaners and wringing you dry. Wash your mouth out three times, and let your smile gleam like white sheets on a line, because it is only 11.99!! Missing out on this one would be a dirty shame, and a stain upon your better sense!

Lemony, floral, with a solid nuttiness. Baked amaretti. Yeasty, fresh baked bread also. So bright, very crispy carbonation. Still fairly dry but a lovely implied sweetness that bring to mind tea w/ lemon & honey. Wonderful weeknight treat for the $$
