I have always liked Fichets wines but lately I have felt they lack a bit of energy. This however is really nice. A more focused style of Chassagne that I really enjoy. Not a grand wine but very good.

Simpler and shallower than his Meursault’s, less definition and tension than his Puligny, but has excellent density, energy and transparency. It kept improving for one week.

Beautiful White Burgundy, medium body, oaky with nice acidity, responds well to saucy fish dishes.
