Nez et bouche sur les fruits jaunes surtout, du menthol et moins typée Chablis ou Droin, la bouche est agréable, ronde, assez riche, la tension n’est pas tranchante ou pas autant typée que l’on pourrait s’attendre d’un Valmur GC. C’est bien mais sans être grand. 89-90
A nice bottle but not to GC level and not typical of Droin. Yellow orchard fruit, some menthol, round and rich, tension and acidity a bit low and non typical.

Very atypical nose of yellow orchard fruit with some new oak, even toasted, mint, menthol, and something a little off compared to the usual Droin aromatics. Palate shows off a bit better and actually quite good when the wine warms up, it is fairly ripe, a touch exotic as the vintage often shows, but with nice backbone nonetheless. Good, but slightly off compared to many other Droin’s Grand Cru’s I drank. 88-89
Un nez atypique avec des fruits à chairs jaunes, du menthol, bois neufs, presque toasté. La bouche est un peu mieux, surtout lorsque le vin réchauffe dans le verre, assez mur et riche, pas mal mais pas aussi bonne que la plupart des Droin GC que j’ai bus. 88-89

Light gold; full, nutty, burgundy-esque nose (Puligny?); round, full (spicy) palate missing typical Chablis grip; finishes same. Tasty still.
