Valmur Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay

2015 Vintage - subtle lime, minerality , leesy , nice med plus acidity , oily in the mouth

Needed some air for the aromas but opened up beautifully.

Super.

Chablis, perfect to cut through all the doom and gloom, flinty, ripping acid, delightful, very much looking forward to the next election cycle

Lovely, with a richness that stays firmly rooted in Chablis. Full of ripe orchard fruit, limestone minerality, and deft use of oak. I'd drink more chardonnay if I could afford more GC Chablis.

With black truffle xmas risotto.

At a really great place right now. Seashells and citrus, balanced with a background of oak.

Nice wine. Initially we thought it was a little old at 12yrs, but it finished nicely. Very clean.

Straw with green hints; orchard fruit and mineral from a somewhat quiet nose; the mouth is lush, silky and saline, this is intense and delicious. Some spiciness came with time. Expecting still more to follow from this excellent bottle.
