Last had this about a year ago, and it hasn’t evolved much— which is not a bad thing since it was really good back then. Gooseberry, lime juice, crushed rock dust on the nose. Loads of flavor: a big hit of crisp, tongue-tingling ripe fruit up front, then zingy acids and stoney minerality kick in. Exemplary Sancerre.

Terrific Sancerre. Deep and lively. Nose has gorgeous crushed limestone dust minerality and mouthwatering lemony acids surrounding ripe gooseberry. Minimal grassiness. Full-flavored and weightier in the mouth than many, it’s got very nice acids to keep it fresh, however. Long, minerally finish.
