Subtle, complex, elegant, flowery. Well integrated oak and citric acidity

Nicer nose, with red fruits and spices profile aromatics, then the palate that lacks a touch of balance and energy compared to the usual Vincent style that I like. Not bad but needs some time maybe. 87-88

2015. This is tasty in a 2015 Rouge primary sort of way, but this will show it’s true potential in another 3-5 years. I hope buyers respect it enough to give it the chance.

Lovely and reminds me I need to drink more Burgundy.

Very similar impression to my last bottle. This was already an amazing value at full price, but at the Zachys blowout price it's steal-of-the-decade material. Opens with a whiff of classic old-style Burgundy barnyard funk but on the palate the focus is more on the gravelly mineral element. The fruit is about as gentle and feminine as Santenay ever gets - this is a very classy wine. The stem signature is starting to recede and there is no more overt greenness here, just an underlying sapidity keeping things centered and taut.

Blanc not Noir. Apple, ripe pear, rolling in my mouth, smooth with a touch of tartness in the finish. Lawn clippings under a shade tree. A plump bird sings on the branch.
