A lot of power. Needs food.

Very in your face, big & spicy.

Took a bit to open. But very good

Notes of raspberry, cranberry and rose water finish. Balanced tannins, has enough backbone to pair with hamachi tuna and black truffle pork dumplings, among other items. A Chef Wolfgang Puck restaurant

Very nice. A bit thin.

French pinot. Red fruit with leathery finish. Grippy tannins.

Took a bit for it to open up, which I was surprised by but it’s good. Surprised.

Nice burgundy. A bit ripe / young / slightly disjointed even but lots of dark cherry and a pleasing finish.

Powerful lovely nose of cassis and violet, refined and lingering but closed on palate. Lovely with dinner, perhaps better in a few years.
