Jean-Marc Pillot
Chassagne-Montrachet Mes Vieilles Vignes Pinot Noir
2009: opening up wonderfully now, lots of minerality, chalky, graphite notes, red fruits a plenty. Cherry, strawberry, lightly oaky, leather. Light saline note. Light sweet spice. Light bodied but punching above its weight, acidic, but only lightly grippy, lots of sour cherry, bright and crunchy. A chalky grainy style. Drink up in next 2-3 years.

Oct 28th, 2015Just a lovely Burgundy, nothing showy or fancy, but smooth, soft, pretty fruit, intriguing depth, a really drinkable and delicious wine.

Oct 2nd, 2015A really lovely, pure expression of traditional Burgundy. It's nice to see wines like this at a fair price making a comeback.
