Highly tannic. Never understood why the upper part of Suchots is not grand cru. Below richebourg and next to romanee st vivant and echezeaux. Fully deserving and this is a prime example.

Nothing new to add. Don’t understand why a vineyard like this one surrounded by grand crus is a premier, especially for the plots close to the road.

Two identical bottles. One heaven one hell. The curse of the cork. Still prefer this over the”thing” that Ponsot put in his bottles as of the 2008 vintage. Call me a romantic.

Mid-weight pure bing cherries and raspberries delight. Some professional taster called it a hedonistic wine and that is exactly what it is. A wine to fully enjoy now but of course you can wait. Will it get better ? It will become differently good but if you want to have pure enjoyment of a young Pinot this is clearly one to enjoy.

Of course way Too young but the purest expression of bing cherries ever. What a vintage.

It combines flavors and aromas of fresh green stems and tart red fruit, I found it more interesting than really enjoyable.

Smells of candies. Very mild, fine grained tannins. Bright & refreshing.

Past it's prime by a while, but still was drinkable.
