Valine Vin de Pays des Collines Rhodaniennes Syrah

Deep pigmentation, black olive, dusty old shed, dark fruits. Lighter body than most Syrah and lovely acid.

The 16 does not have bret despite another's comment that it does. Clean and pretty.

Holy Brett Batman. I’ll give this 8 so it doesn’t get a frowny face, but wow that’s just too much Brett in 2016. I can tell the wine beneath used to be good before the Brett ate it, so I just need to try a different vintage.

A worthy and informative intro to the Jamet line up. Starts out rustic and settles on lush. Now I need the cote rotie.

Baby rotie. Loaded with violets, juicy berries, roasted meat, and stemmy herbal things, with a briny olive note that played nicely with this here Mediterranean chicken situation
