2009 vintage Alsatian Gewürztraminer by Jean Geiler 13%ABV, brilliant golden straw in the bowl. Densely concentrated aromatics of ginger, honey, lychee , ripe peach, a hint of nutmeg and wet stone minerality. Silky smooth, medium acidity, well balanced and well integrated. This wine is in its window and recommend enjoying soon. Pair with Asian coconut curry with ginger, galangal, and either chicken, white pork or shrimp and fragrant jasmine rice, or shrimp or chicken Pad Thai. Wonderful wine. tasted 2015.
