Dinner white. Nose has granite and gras. Some exotic fruits and so vivid. Hint of reduction. Palate is so engaging. Granitic intensity, so pure and clean and just shimmering. Simple but so well made. Maybe some complexity will develop with air. Solid 9.2 for now.

I drink a lot of White Rhone and that’s been one of my favorite things about the past 9+ years of Fass Selections. I didn’t before and now I realize that I have a passion for them. Nice to find a new wine category late in your wine drinking life one loves. Anyway this is beautiful. Nose is ripe yellow fruits, beeswax, gorgeous compactness and minerals. It’s really refined as well. Palate is ripe, unctuous and juicy but I’ll admit off the bat it’s showing it’s alcohol but it will integrate. It’s only 13% but that’s why you let white Rhone breathe. For the alcohol to integrate. Luscious and juicy. Deep but I’ll be back for when it’s integrated. It’s a solid 9.0 now but the finish, texture and depth suggest this will be wonderful in an hour.
9.0 to 9.2. Alcohol almost fully integrated in 10 minutes. Custardy now. Great length and terrific minerals.

Wow. Amazing.
Nose is honey made from apricot flowers. Stunning. So floral. Amazing. Really gods apricot flower perfume with like this aeration of honey.
Palate is apricot Nectar. Gorgeous silky texture. So well balanced.
Wow. This is like condrieu. If condrieu didn’t fucking suck and wasn’t Oaked up the ass.
Bought from fass selections.

Lovely tropical fruit and minerality. Definitely needs some air. After a few hours it was bursting with mango and pineapple. I saved some to try 24 hours later and expect it to be even better. (It was hard to save any!!)
