Le Zaune à Dédée Gewürztraminer - Savagnin

Can't get enough of this juice!

Fun wine & a great combo when put up against Chinese dim sum. Cloudy and orange in the glass, this wine automatically shows you there is a wild trip ahead. The nose is Gewurtztraminer dominant and boozy (I believe this wine comes in at 14.5% abv). Heaps of honeysuckle, orange blossom, mead, orange marmalade, and ripe nectarine. Very expansive on the palate and a joy to drink. Vibrant and fun!

Incredible depth here, with quince, tangerine, honeysuckle and raw honey notes. This is bone dry buy very mineral...made in a classic orange wine style that keeps inviting you for the next sip. Another great bottle from Ganevat, 2016 vintage out of magnum.

Love this, an orange wine from the Jura, a blend of savagnin and gewürztraminer. Lychee, bitter orange, dried apricots. High acid but balanced. Interesting and delicious

Trying to get through the night.

Baby clothing. We start there. Notes of lychees, dreft, canned mandarin orange, just amazing nose....flavor of slightly rotting apples and sweet grape must vinegar, mild pez finish. Most interesting wine of the night....but not unanimous!

Soooo gewurtzy. Very floral with vanilla and violet on the nose. Salty peachy, A little bit of minerality? Bright high acid, med body, caramel undertones.

Lychees, melon, lilac, just a touch of acid on the finish.
