A wine that holds a special place in my heart because of personal reasons when I had this specific vintage first and it set me off on my Beauj quest for serious wine. This has more “larger” fruit characteristics for a Beauj and has crowd pleasing elements. It’s mouthfeel is excellent and fruit is great. If you dig deep there is a little natural wine funk hidden at the end that is covered by a bit of the mouthfeel and some fruit. But that is me nit picking. Fruit is a bit more front and center.
