This wine is drinking well now but has the potential to age further. The tannins are present but not rough at all. Lots of dark berries, plums and currants. Oak is so restrained too. Can drink on its own but if you open now, you will enjoy it more with something off the grill.

Darn good night with Jean Edwards Cellars at the Chop House last night. This Rutherford, which is actually a camouflaged George III, is simply one of the best reds I've had this year.
