Nothing like a commercial red Burgundy. Tart red cherry, red plum, tart tomato skin, strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry, thyme, wild herbs, forest floor, limestone, whole cluster with stems, high minerality, smoke, lavender!!!, pronounced intensity and finish, med+ acid and tannins.

Year-end dinner with great friends at one of our favorite wine bars.

Easy drinking with some of the spiciness of whole cluster fermentation.

First day: fresh, bright, beautiful youth—cherries and acid and🌹 ☀️🌈 ... but already depth is building, with medium body and a riper finish a touch of earth that lingers. Day 2: body abs ripeness fill out and flavor intensifies. Gorgeous.

Basically everything I like about this type of wine, at ridiculously low cost
