Beautiful floral and vegetal notes. Honey citrus and asparagus at the same time. Oak tones and vanilla with a nice balance of acid that lingers. 13%

Toasty smell with pineapple and pear. Becomes lightly buttery on the nose when warming up. On the palate the acid fruits kick in: some grapefruit and lime rind. Hints of popcorn. Lingering finish. Quite nice, dry Chardonnay.

So remember a few weeks ago when I went on that Rose tasting boat ride? Well, one if the sommelier's said I needed to try white burgundy - I was not even aware of white burgundy existing!! So of course I hit up my favorite spot @TotalWine in search of this "new" wine. Came across this..it's interesting, smells sort if minerally, the color is this pale gold, really nice looking!! The taste is a bit like a really strong Sauvignon Blanc, with a bit if a bite on the end. When you drink it however it only leaves behind one long leg - and a fat leg at that. Something tells me this veriatal has more to offer so I look forward to exploring it more! Overall, I liked it, not love. Would go great with crackers and cheese!
