Deft use of oak. Lemon meringue, with good presence in the mid. Acid and finish were on point.

Acid is a little austere but there’s a really soft lactic quality on the finish, too. 2014 - Really the last of the classic vintages.

My dining partners said “this tastes like our friendship.” A nice showing from the uninspiring but workable 2012 vintage and, as always with Bessin, very affordable.
