Final wine of the night with our dinner hosted by Jean-Charles Boisset. Certainly a treat to experience the Surrealist first hand. This is a Cab /Petite Verdot blend with a smoky, floral opener and dominant oak. Loads of blackberry, licorice, and herbal anise. The wine drinks well with nice balance and a medium finish. Possibly it's the vintage but I wanted more.
