Wine 2 of the night with JCB. My favorite wine of the night. Elegant full bodied Chardonnay with a silky texture. I found this to have a nice concentration of clean, ripe fleshy fruits. Melons, apple and pear lead to a long finish.

JCB no 81 is a praiseworthy fawn of a Chardonnay-nay. Smooth as silk with light hints of citrus, decent acidity bite and suave finish worthy of a summer day. This demitasse isn't merited for the village idiot's palate so partition accordingly.

Nutty and warm bread notes on first wiff, baked apple and pear follow nicely. Rich round mouthfeel gives a touch of lively medium acidity and ties the mirroring nose and palate together with a warm vanilla finish that lingers seductively like perfume in a room moments after a lady departs. ( probably my cheesiest description yet! 😜)

Not in my top 5 favorite Chardonnays but this is pretty good. A little more acidic than I'd like it to be.
