The tropical fruit of the Viognier actually fights the savory elements of the Syrah to a draw on the nose. Some deep blackberry too. Very Syrah on the palate with smoky funk and some ripe fruit poking through. Cool blend. 14.5% alc.

May 28th, 201858 Syrah/28 Grenache/14 Viognier. Girls have decided on margaritas for the game so I rummaged around and found this. A restrained nose for how it hits the palate. Dark berries and spice with a zing of acidity - thanks to the Viognier? Another good one from LB. Go Vikes!

Fun raspberry, cherry, juicy blackberry aromas. Viognier adds a another dimension to the palette.
Develops more depth with aeration and time in the decanter. Overall fun wine that will develop more with another year in the bottle.
