A darn good value, if not quite at the extraordinary quality level of the ‘13. Nose has straw-laced Chardonnay fruit accented with melted butter-drizzled Burgundian gravel. Soft and mouthfilling. Pretty good concentration but is a little looser than the 13 version as the acids are there but are softer than many 14s. Hard to complain however at a mid-$20s price point (if I am remembering correctly).

Great nose. So precise and on point. Lemon, wet forest floor, minerals, candied but barely. Lovely classic 14 nose. Dynamic 2014 with lovely energy, purity and sap. So very pure and clean. Excellent depth and just so harmonious. Reminds me of the Mosel for some reason. Very mineral finish and lovely persistence.

It was a warm afternoon, finally, today. We're grilling oysters and pairing wines!

Limestone/Earthy soup of a wine. Fresh pear and medium citrus. Just a stunning show for a Village level bottle, a blend of Meursault/Puligny-Montrachet fruits. Many years to go still, excited we have several bottles for future enjoyment.

Some days you just want a well made bottle of Bourgogne. And this is it. Still holding up well after 6 years.

Nose has a hint of lime zest.

Palate is rich. Good mineral spine. Very vivacious.

Bought from fass selections.
