Medium yellow. Focused aromas of pink Lady apple, apricot and orchard blossom. Perfectly judged sweetness that matches equally well with German veal sausages and a simpler meal of grilled cheese sandwich. Tastes like summer

2014 Jacoby-Mathy Kinheimer Hubertuslay Riesling Kabinett Feinherb, to be exact. (Showing the back label because the front label doesn't have the full name.)

This is both easy-drinking and very interesting. Great nose: lemon/lime pith, juice-covered peach pit, and a touch of high-toned slate minerality. Tremendous purity of appley and just-ripe peach fruit, soft texture, and enough acidity to keep it refreshing. Slightly sweet. At 9.5% alc., this bottle is going down way too quickly.

Smells of green apple, apricot. Crisp and tart on the tongue, sweet. Above average quality.
