What a nose. Custardy, gras, tropical but also granitic. Wow. So expressive. Citrus marmalade. So mineral and just expansive. Like a 9.6 nose. Maybe more! It’s a 9.7 nose. Sickness. Palate has energy for days and days and is so elegant, fresh and complex. Beautiful. Long. This is one of the best St. Perays I have ever had. Wow does it cling with super pure citrus and edgy tropical fruits that just coat the palate. Rich and energetic is my favorite combo. As this airs it comes more into focus and gets so nimble. So complex. Almost a 9.7!

May 9th, 2023A great St. Peray. Nose starts out a but quiet but has rich tropical fruits and apricot. Mango, papaya but juuuuust ripe. Gorgeous fruit complexity. Huge Marsanne freak show minerality. After 3 minutes nose really gets going. Wow what a fascinating and interesting nose. Palate is juicy and concentrated with great purity and sap. Round and fresh from the intense minerality. Really complex and what awesome almost icing on a cake like texture. Fantastic wine. Really long, balanced and pure. Lingers. So so complex. The finish just fans out and really extends the complexity. So balanced and pure. 19 is a killer vintage for the N. Rhone.

Aug 5th, 2021Gorgeous nose. Peanut butter, tropical fruits, minerals, yellow fruits, very high toned and has great breadth. Very elegant, very elegant, wow, superb airiness and also some classic St. Peray richness. Clean as whistle. So fresh and so clean. Juicy like nothing else and such intense flavor impact. Deep structure, very good acidity and freshness and finished almost tannic, with savory and salty hints. Superb.

Nose is lemon, flower. Quite elegant. Not sure I’d guess Northern rhone blind.
Palate is silky. Quite good. Elegant Apricot. Balanced.
