Les Amoureuses Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir

On any normal night, this would be the stunner. I feel bad of how overshadowed it was.

Darker fruit, juicy and spicy.

While not a huge fan of the ‘08 vintage, this wine exhibited a wonderful red raspberry, sous bois quality with a textural smoothness that continued to lengthen over time. A great vyd produced by a great winegrower.

Early valentine dinner with wifey...easily one of the best burgundies i have had...maybe also the appreciation was affected by the mood over dinner.
