Mugnier Amoureuses 2010 took some time to come out of its shell but when it did it showed how special the vineyard is. It’s so sensual and refined and seduces with its aromatics and multidimensional complexity. There is finesse and plenty of structure, surely to be a star as it continues to develop. A beautiful bottle.

Forgot to take a picture last night , but a perfect time to enjoy. A fairly large scale Chambolle that had tons of extract , with good acidity still to keep it from being heavy. Serious juice.

Could smell this all night long. A mix of red and black raspberry with crushed stone, red floral and slight brown spice. In a better spot than the 02 tonight.
