Aug 10th, 2015This Bavard is back on form in 750, after a few years of being shutdown. Ripe dark fruit and good acid make for perfect Wednesday night wine, especially with pork chops! This wine had the extra little something that makes fools out of Burgundy lovers!

Mar 26th, 2015Cinnamon and I loved this wine so much that we bought a case & a half of 750's & a case of magnums- enough to have it & drink it! Right now this wine is light bodied and bright with a high toned sour cherry and graphite finish. It was great with the mac&Cheese but the spices in the river dog sausages didn't gel with it for me.

Mar 15th, 2014These 11's sure are nice with food! This Monthelie had great persistence and minerality, and more than enough tense, dark fruit. It was great with the fatted calf stuffed pork rib roast and potato gratin.
