Damn that's good. Nice fruit up front, a little tingle and tannin, then a silky dry finish. Spectacular balance and paired really beautifully with the complexity of a shrimp & grits plate

Their house style is fragrant and soft, and this vintage fits the bill. Not the most interesting, but beautifully executed.

Redolent of ripe tomato and strawberries; this sounds weird, but it works. There’s a lilting minty top note, too, and below an earthy hit of sous-bois. The body is a limpid garnet color, with brilliant acidity and ruby fruits buffed to a polish by exotic spice. It’s a wine with both sweetness and secrets. 14.3% abv | $40 (sample)

I got ripe apple on the nose at first. Extremely subtle anise flavors with over ripe bing cherry. The 2013 vintage is still very young, but it will be so good in like a year.

Lush, ruby-red wine that vibrantly showcases firm, food-friendly acidity and plenty of black fruit flavors. Flavors of black currant, plum and tart cherry fill the glass. A kiss of earthiness makes this a perfect pairing with a mushroom soup.

Delicious Pinot noir we discovered at a high end restaurant. Smooth and paired wonderfully with filet mignon. Available for purchase at Whole Foods.
