It's official: I really really hate J bubbles. This is their XB Extra Brut, but even when J bubbles are dry, they're sweet. Cloying flabby expensive junk. Not to put too fine a point on it.

J Cuvée XB--if I never had a sweet bubble again, I would be happy. Nice job on this lemony steely one J.

Crispy! Stored in my fridge for months as was to be drunk on Election Day, wah, wah...major crystallization on the rim. Mineral, dry, bubbles!

Very good. Very dry. Almost a pit fruit taste.

Sweet cream, white flowers, brioche on the nose. Tiny bubble and bright acidity on the palate causes the flavor to layer. Lemon curd, English muffin (lightly toasted), lime leaf flavors. Finishes slightly yeasty.
