J Vineyards & Winery
Cuvée 20 Brut Sparkling White Blend
Surprisingly good. A bit too much RS but strong example.

Jun 27th, 2016A blend of 55% Chardonnay, 43% Pinot Noir, 2% Pinot Meunier, J celebrates 20 years of winemaking. Aromas of stone and citrus fruits with biscuit notes. On the palate Apple, pear, lemon zest and red berry notes with some creamy nutty vanilla, very complex. The wine has lively acidity, fresh yeast and ends with toasty tones on the lingering finish. Great offering.

Jun 1st, 2016Fun bubbly. Like one of my last ratings high on the R.S. for me for not being a champagne. I guess I can respect a Demi sec or Doux from France. This wine does live up to its description on the bake label. Just not my thing but I respect its origins.
